Droid X video of a wakeboarder riding the ramp on water skis behind a winchGrinch Winch Water Skiing – What? Video recorded and uploaded to youtube using a Droid X Had a ramp session the other day and we got bored so I guess that’s how the water skis came out. I think the right ski had a huge fin on the bottom and the left ski was flat. Pretty funny stuff! The Grinch Winch was in action as usual. There is no zoom on this camera so you have to look closely when he hits the ramp – he actually slides up the ramp on his side. Jul

How to go huge on a wakeboard using less effortA common mistake in wakeboarding when trying to go big is literally trying too hard. Going huge on a wakeboard is actually less work than you would think and has more to do with energy transfer. In this article, Shaun Murray explains what you need to do and not do when trying to go big. Once you understand the physics behind it, you will be launching into the air higher than ever before with a lot less effort. Line tension, standing tall and timing all have a big part in it. Keith Lyman is the newest team rider at Axis Boats. To celebrate the new union, Axis Boats put this video together of Lyman riding behind a Axis A22 wakeboard boat. This guy has some of the best style out there in the sport of wakeboarding today. If you are on the fence about wakeboarding, watch a few Keith Lyman videos and you will be hooked! If you ask any wakeboarder that is working on spinning and air 360s, they will tell you that the handle pass is the hardest part of the trick. When you are in the air doing a jump, it’s tough to concentrate on your spin when you have to pass the handle from one hand to the other behind your back. This video shows you a good technique to practice when passing the handle as it allows for a better chance of a successful pass. Jun

Malibu Flo-Cam Swivel Head Pylon Mount CameraMalibu Flo-Cam Camera Malibu has a new product that will be included as an option with their new boat line. It’s a pylon mounted camera system that records the action behind the boat. The camera will be mounted on the tower and will move synchronously with the rope to capture everything happening with the rider behind the boat. This idea has been out for a while but Malibu recently announced that they are getting on board with this camera technology. The camera will be connected to an lcd on the dashboard as well as a small lcd in the glove compartment. Lake Hopatcong boat slips are still available. With over 300 dock spaces, we have boat slip rentals available in many sizes. If you are just looking to get on the water for the day, there are 2 boat launches on premises. Contact us below for more information. Jun
